From the above patent, it is clear that the brain activity of an individual can be monitored and transmitted to a remote location, e.g. by satellite, which is situated thousands of miles away from the surface of the earth. So the question naturally comes in mind whether science has also made it possible to read the thoughts of human mind? The answer is yes, and you will be surprised to know that scientists have not only found ways to read the private thoughts of a person but also create real-time images from what he is seeing.
Earlier, mind reading used to exist in the fairy tales, mythologies and science fiction stories. But now, with the help of modern science and technologies, mind reading has become a reality. Now, thoughts are no more private. With such technologies, the possibility of new kind of crimes such as Mind Manipulation, Thought Stealing, Mind Control etc. cannot be denied. Already some conspiracy theories like Psychotronic Torture, Mind Control, Remote Neural Monitoring etc., are being claimed by people known as Targeted Individuals.
Targeted Individuals
Targeted Individuals are people who claim that they are the victims of organised crimes done by unknown Gang Stalkers. It is said that Targeted Individuals exist in every country. They allege that unknown Gang Stalkers torture them mentally and physically for years. They also claim that Gang Stalkers use invisible weapons, like electromagnetic radiation, to target their body and use microwave and other frequencies to put negative thoughts and voices inside their brain.
But due to lack of information, misinformation, and lack of scientific explanations, most people don't believe their claims. However, thousands of people from different countries, with no connection at all from one another, make similar claims about the existence of mysterious gang-stalkers, who use invisible energy weapons and other psychological means to torture their mind and body.
If one searches the term "Targeted Individuals" on the internet, he will be overwhelmed to see that millions of blogs, articles and YouTube videos are dedicated on this topic. Here is the screenshot of Google, which shows that when the word 'targeted individuals' is searched on internet, Google gives 60 crores or 600 million results in just 0.49 seconds:-
Tin/Aluminium Foil Hat
Tin or Aluminium Foil Hat is very popular among Targeted Individuals. They believe that this type of hats, protect the brain from electromagnetic radiations, like microwave frequencies. For this reason, they cover their brain with Tin/Aluminium Foil (normally with Aluminium foil because of it's easy availability as it is used to wrap food items at homes and hotels) with the hope that it shields the brain from threats such as electromagnetic fields, mind control and mind reading. The Targeted Individuals probably use this so called Hat believing it to work as a Faraday Cage.
A Faraday cage or shield is an enclosure used to block electromagnetic fields. This type of shield may be formed by a continuous covering of conductive material, or in the case of a Faraday cage, by a mesh of such materials. This cage was named after the scientist Michael Faraday, who invented it. This type of Cage operates in such a way that an external electrical field causes the electric charges within the cage's conducting material to be distributed so that they cancel the field's effect in the cage's interior.
However, Faraday cage principle does not work in every situation. In the case of aluminium foil hat, it neither covers the entire head properly nor does it shields the face in any way. Further, the targeted individuals make a big mistake by thinking that they are being targeted by electromagnetic radiations only!

AI can be described as machines that perceives its environment and takes actions that increases its chance of successfully achieving the goals. When the machine, which earlier required intelligence for doing certain actions, becomes capable of performing those actions in a normal or routine way, those actions are then excluded from AI and termed as routine technology.
Smart dust is an arrangement of many tiny micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) such as sensors, robots, or other devices, that can detect, light, temperature, vibration etc. Neural dust is a term derived from Smart dust, which can be explained as millimetre-sized devices operated on wireless powered nerve sensors and is a type of brain–computer interface. The sensors of a neural dust may be used to study, monitor, or control the nerves and muscles and to remotely monitor neural activity.

Apart from Mind Reading, scientists have made 'synthetic telepathy' a reality. Please note that in most of the links provided above, it is being said that mind reading can be done only after attaching a certain device like chip, electrode, gadget etc. But I believe that mind-reading is possible through wireless means because of many reasons. The patent mentioned at the start of the article, also favors my argument. Just think how the mobile works wirelessly?. Messages, Videos, live conversations, etc. can be done in a fraction of a second. Further, in the process of mobile communication Sound is converted to Electric Signals and vice versa through transducers. Data is transmitted through Radio Waves with the help of Modulation (click this link for more information).
Therefore it is very hard to believe that in present day's rapid advancement in science and technology, mind reading would still be needing some device or electrode implants for mind reading. Instead the probability is that mind-reading technology is already being used as a powerful illegal weapon, else why would the so called tin/aluminium hat be so popular? And why would millions of people claim that unknown gang-stalkers are targeting them with invisible weapons?
Finally, with such thought-reading technologies, there will be serious threat to privacy and security. Invisible crimes like Mind Control, Manipulating Emotions, stealing passwords and other financial datas, inception, making puppet, brainwashing etc. would become a new normal. If a technology can read someone's thoughts of see his brain's activity, it can also manipulate or damage the brain to any extent.
